Hypnotherapy Works! Scientific Studies
In the world of mental health, hypnotherapy has a legitimate use. In clinical settings, hypnotherapy has a rich history and a growing body of scientific support. Over the years, numerous studies have demonstrated its effectiveness in addressing a wide range of physical and mental health issues. I am listing here some of the recent influential studies that have shaped our understanding of hypnotherapy today, highlighting its potential and healing capabilities.
Meta-analytic Evidence on the Efficacy of Hypnosis for Mental and Somatic Health Issues (2024) : This comprehensive review analyzed 49 meta-analyses covering 261 primary studies. It found robust evidence supporting the efficacy of hypnosis, including hypnotherapeutic regression for various health issues such as pain management, trauma healing and medical procedures.
